The set is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0, making it freely available for any use with attribution. OpenMoji's design philosophy emphasizes simplicity, readability at small sizes, and cultural neutrality.

OpenMoji is available in both SVG and PNG formats, with color and outline variants, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
