1. Service Description

EmojiFYI (emojifyi.com) provides a free emoji reference service including emoji data, developer tools, a glossary, blog content, and a JSON API. The service is provided "as is" without warranty.

2. Emoji Data

Emoji data is sourced from the Unicode Standard and CLDR, maintained by the Unicode Consortium. Unicode character data is freely available under the Unicode License Agreement. EmojiFYI does not claim ownership of emoji characters or Unicode data.

3. API Usage

The EmojiFYI API is free to use. We ask that you:

Include reasonable rate limiting in your applications
Do not use the API for scraping the entire emoji database
Credit EmojiFYI when displaying data from the API

We reserve the right to rate-limit or block abusive API usage.

4. Intellectual Property

Original content on EmojiFYI (blog articles, glossary explanations, tool implementations) is copyrighted. Emoji designs shown on this site are rendered by your device's operating system using its native emoji font — EmojiFYI does not distribute emoji images.
